trick-or-treat

halloween was so much fun! ryan dressed up as a ladybug and sam ended up with two costumes - superman and a fireman. we went trick-or-treating in downtown los altos in the afternoon and sam was a fireman. then, he made a wardrobe change for the evening and turned into a fireman.
i have managed to avoid eating too much candy although sam did get a whole bunch of my favorite - reese's peanut butter cups. stay away from the candy. stay away from the candy. stay away from the candy.
welcome to november! the time change and buckets of rain over the weekend definitely makes it feel like winter is on the way. yes, i know...we are spoiled rotten here in california but i am such a wimp when it comes to cold weather!

monday

the halloween decorations are up!
halloween is so much fun! let me explain - i enjoy decorating our house, wearing a costume is always fun and a bucket full of candy is a good thing, right? i am not a fan of any scary or creepy stuff - we just have half a dozen huge spiders all over our house but the blood and gore is not my thing.
i have yet to buy any halloween candy because i know it would never last until halloween! maybe i should buy the stuff that i don't like?
have a fantastic week!
