family portraits - sneak peek

the s. family suggested meeting at sanborn park for photos and it was absolutely gorgeous. we walked around the park and found a beautiful redwood grove, large grass area and some beautiful fall leaves.

here are a few photos from a fun session with the f. family. this is my second time photographing this family and what a treat to see them again! i am always so thrilled to have families come back year after year for photos because i love catching up and seeing how much the kids have grown up and changed. i feel so lucky to be able to document these moments for families.

trick-or-treat

halloween was so much fun! ryan dressed up as a ladybug and sam ended up with two costumes - superman and a fireman. we went trick-or-treating in downtown los altos in the afternoon and sam was a fireman. then, he made a wardrobe change for the evening and turned into a fireman.
i have managed to avoid eating too much candy although sam did get a whole bunch of my favorite - reese's peanut butter cups. stay away from the candy. stay away from the candy. stay away from the candy.
welcome to november! the time change and buckets of rain over the weekend definitely makes it feel like winter is on the way. yes, i know...we are spoiled rotten here in california but i am such a wimp when it comes to cold weather!
